Mohd Dzakir Moktar
QUALIFICATIONS :
Diploma in Marine Engineering, Singapore Polytech 1983.

Certificate of Competency, 2nd Grade Steam (DOSH).
BACKGROUND AND WORKING EXPERIENCE :
Dzakir has more than 16 years experience primarily as a foreign going marine engineer; with direct involvement in the operations and maintenance of the onboard ship engines and the loads and auxiliaries.
His previous engagements have been on a variety of foreign going vessels belonging to Neptune Orient Lines and Worldwide Shipping[Hong Kong]. Upon ending his sea career in 1994 he joined YTL Power Services, Pasir Gudang as a Shift Engineer, followed by a stint as Chief Engineer at the Santubong Kuching Resort until 1998.
Dzakir was appointed Plant Manager in March 2010.

Abdull Rahim Hashim
QUALIFICATIONS :
Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Power), UTM 1982.
BSc Electrical Engineering, 1985.
Professional Engineer.
JBE Competent Electrical Engineer.
BACKGROUND AND WORKING EXPERIENCE :
Rahim graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 1982 with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Power) and went on to serve as a Technical Assistant with the (then) National Electricity Board (NEB) until 1983. He then left to pursue further studies and qualified with a BSc in Electrical Engineering in 1985. He returned to serve NEB (later privatised to become Tenaga Nasional Berhad) for a further 9 years, before leaving to join ARL Group in 1994.
While with NEB, and later TNB, he had more than 8 years' experience in the Distribution Division, responsible for the safe and efficient distribution of electricity to consumers. With a knowledge and understanding of the criticality of electrical distribution, he went on to serve the company in the Research and Development (R&D) department. He developed a keen interest in equipment and component modification and innovation.
Joining ARL Janakuasa Letrik in March 2010, Rahim brings with him more than 10 years' experience and knowledge in electrical power distribution and its related activities and products.

Appollo graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in June 1992.
His early work experience includes working with Topik Furniture as a carpenter and as a Chinese restaurant trainee with Hyatt Hotel in Kota Kinabalu.
In August 1992, he was employed by Lembaga Letrik Sabah (later known as SESB) as an Operation Technical Assistant (J5). He had experience mostly related to operation and maintenance of 2 units of 12MW Open Cycle Westinghouse W191G Gas Turbine, 2 units of 8MW Niigata Pielstick 18PC25V Diesel Engine, 2 units of 8MW Semt-Pielstick 18PC25V Diesel Engine, 1 unit of 4MW Semt-Pielstick 12PA6 Diesel Engine, 1 unit of 4MW Niigata 16V40X Diesel Engine and a Ruston 18ATC MK2 Diesel Engine.
Appollo joined ARL Janakuasa Letrik Sdn Bhd in August 1995 as a Senior Operator in the Operations Department. He was responsibled for the day to day operations and maintenance of 4 units 12.5MW Four Stroke 18 cylinder HHI-New Sulzer ZAV40S, 4 units of 7.9 bar Kang Rim smoke tube recovery boiler and auxiliaries. In November 1995 he was resignated as Assistant Engineer, Operations.
Appollo completed his Certificate of Competency 2nd Grade ICE (DOSH) in Mac 1998. With his exemplary work, model performance and achievement he was promoted to the post of Mechanical Engineer in July 2000 and responsible for the overall safe and efficient mechanical maintenance function,in collaboration with Edelly, of the ARL Tenaga Melawa IPP Power Plant.

Basil James Saihing
QUALIFICATIONS :
Degree in Electrical, Electronic & System Engineering, UKM 1997.
BACKGROUND AND WORKING EXPERIENCE :
Basil graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in June 1997 and completed his industrial training with a semiconductor factory at KESMI Sdn Bhd (M), Petaling Jaya. He joined Mamut Copper Mining Sdn Bhd as Electrical cum Operation Engineer. He had experience in leading operation and maintenance of Niigata Diesel Generator which has the capacity of 5.5 MW x 4 units, trouble shooting and fixing of electrical installations and component parts. He left the company in March 1999 due to mine closure.
Basil joined ARL Janakuasa Letrik Sdn Bhd in April 1999 as an Operational Development Engineer. In July 1999 temporarily undertook additional duties of as Assistant Engineer (Operation) and was exposed extensively to day to day operation and maintenance of the power plant, which is equipped with 12.5 MW x 4 units of Hyundai-Sulzer 18ZAV 40S and 4 units of Waste Heat Recovery Boiler. In April 2000, he was redesignated as Engineer O&M Support.
On 1 July 2000, he was further redesignated to Engineer (Projects).

Rusina Wahab
QUALIFICATIONS :

BACKGROUND AND WORKING EXPERIENCE :
Rusina Wahab was offered as an Account Clerk in Steel Industries (S) Sdn Bhd on May 1995. In September 1995, she joined ARL as an Office Administrator and later was promoted to Executive Administrator in September 2003.
